Legal Document Management: May 97 to Present. Developed Document Management application in VB5 that replaces MS Word native FileSaveAs functionality by presenting a custom SaveAs user interface that manages the file directory structure at run-time and attaches custom properties to the document. Utilized ActiveX dll classes to get and set document properties with information supplied by MS Word via automation and an ODBC data source.
Public Health Information Management System: September 96 to March 97. Wrote specification, designed database/interface, constructed application and trained users. A large-scale project that integrated existing, non-computerized, disparate business practices into a case-oriented, service-delivery paradigm implemented in Access 97.
Steel Coil Inventory and Delivery: February 96 to September 96. Performed business process analysis, user needs analysis, prepared the functional spec and participated in GUI and system business logic design for an application that managed inbound/outbound inventory and material transport, implemented with a Microsoft Access 2.0 front end and Microsoft SQL Server database.
PROFS Calendar: January 96 to February 96. Developed widely distributed, MS Word Basic application for Ford Motor Co. replacing an existing WordPerfect macro to create formatted calendars from text files containing appointment data generated by PROFS.
Personal Health Appraisal Report System: February 95 to January 96. SQL Server/MS Access/MS Word system processed survey, lab and nurse data producing reports with health status, risk factors and life-style related behavior modification suggestions.
Custom Inventory System: December 93 to February 95. MS Access application that managed orders, inventory, transportation, legal contracts, sales commissions, invoicing and contacts for a used computer reselling company.
SQL Triggers and Stored Procedures: August 93 December 93. Wrote SQL code for a highly normalized, enterprise-wide application for a government agency that collected large amounts of contact information and associated people with various groups.
