If you use Visual Studio 6 and plan to install IE5, watch out for incompatibilities. Problems mostly relate to using VB and Visual Interdev with Dynamic HTML.  Microsoft has posted a page at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/technical/ie5.asp   that details the problems and their plans for fixing them in a future service pack.
